About Marilyn Gargarella

Marilyn Gargarella (nee Norman) was born in Toronto, Ontario.  Her inspiration to paint comes from her love of the countryside, which she has enjoyed since childhood.  She has many fine memories of summers spent in Halliburton, Ontario and these memories beckon her every summer to return to capture their beauty.  Her paintings are dynamic, expressive and interpretive.  Marilyn’s use of watercolour paints varies from soft and translucent to bold and daring!

Marilyn studied art at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Halliburton and at the Blue Mountain School of Art, Ontario.  She’s attended numerous workshops and seminars conducted by prominent Canadian and America artists.
