About Jan Pugh
In 1994, after many years as an elementary school teacher specializing in Visual Arts, Jan began a second career as a professional stained glass and mixed media artisan. For ten years, she worked at a retail stained glass studio, co-producing custom stained glass works and refining her glass working skills. She has become a successful glass artist, designing and creating her own patters for stained glass.
Upon retirement, Jan has the luxury to further develop and expand into warm glass production. She works with kilns with a whole new approach to the creation of one-of-a-kind glass art.
Jan leads weekend workshops and seminars as well as teaches a variety of mixed media techniques from her home studio.
For the past 12 years, Jan’s paintings and mixed media collages have been accepted at many juried art shows and exhibitions, including the McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg.
