Art of the Matter is one of York Region’s most dynamic art galleries and is home to many outstanding contemporary Canadian and International artists. We provide professional custom framing in York Region and showcase some of the finest art in Aurora, Ontario.
Established in 1994 by Wendy Treacy, and located in the St. Andrew’s Shopping Centre, our unique Aurora gallery welcomes you to experience all that we have to offer. We represent a variety of painters, printmakers, potters, glass artists and sculptors. Many of our artists are well-known, some are mid-career and others are notable up-and-comers. This interesting mix of talent ensures an exciting and wide-range selection of art in terms of both style and price.
Our Gallery
Art of the Matter offers you a variety of services. We offer custom framing, done on our premises. We do not send your artwork to be framed elsewhere. Ask about our gift certificates, bridal registration, art classes, consultations and interior design services. We also offer an appraisal service for a variety of circumstances. Our goal is to provide you with the best design advice, the best service, quality workmanship, and expert custom framing expertise. We take our time to ensure that your collectable is preserved for your long lasting enjoyment.
