Robert Amirault

Bob Amirault was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 1938.  He is a self taught painter working in a representational style.  He paints landscapes, seascapes and figures in oils and watercolours.

Many of Bob’s paintings are created on location in different parts of Ontario, the Maritimes and throughout Canada.  His larger paintings are created in his home studio using the plein air studies and other reference material gathered on his travels.

Bob is a popular workshop instructor for many schools and art groups, including the Toronto Watercolour Society, East and Central Ontario Art Associations and the Don Valley Art Club.
